Project
As in any industrial form and during the design of the letter box, our goal was to "improve the quality of life." Therefore, we focused not only on the appearance and purely visual side - although this is very important, but also on the relationships between the object and the user, which enter into mutual relations at various stages of "life."
Usability
The design of the Corvidae letter box was considered at an early stage for assembly, transport, consumption, repair, and disposal. The main emphasis was placed on various phases of using this product.
Emotions
An important aspect of considerations was the emotions that the object would evoke in the user. It was essential for us that the product was solidly made, created a sense of security, and, through its form, referred to the foundations and pillars of the represented home.
Customization
A wide range of material choices allows you to customize the appearance of the box to the architectural elements, creating a unique coherent image connecting the external area with the residential interior. Our product lifts the veil of mystery for guests, revealing what is behind the gate, fence, and doors of the house.
Genesis
The name of the Corvidae box project refers to birds from the crow family, which in both Celtic and Scandinavian mythology were treated by gods as messengers of news, both good and bad.
